2012 PASADENA TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PRESIDENT AND HIS WIFE The American Fork High School Marching Band has been invited to participate in the prestigious Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, better known as the Rose Parade in January 2012. As part of this great opportunity, the 2012 Pasadena Tournament of Roses President, Richard Jackson and his wife Sharon will be in American Fork to give recognition to the band and to award them The Rose Parade Flag. On Tuesday, May 10, 2011, from 5:00-6:45 pm at the American Fork High School, 510 North 600 East, the public is invited to meet and greet President Jackson, his wife Sharon, and the American Fork High School Marching Band. The public is also invited to attend the American Fork High School Band Awards Concert at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at the High School. Mayor Hadfield will be presenting Tournament of Roses President Jackson and his wife Sharon the key to American Fork City. Congratulations to the American Fork High School Marching Band for being chosen to participate. The Tournament of Roses Committee chooses 17-20 bands worldwide to march in the Rose Parade, which is watched in person by hundreds of thousands of spectators along the parade route and is broadcasst to millions on television worldwide in more than 200 international territories and countries.
