This update contains information about scheduled construction activities, inconveniences and progress along I-15 from the Lehi Main Street interchange to 200 South in Lindon.
General nighttime lane restrictions are possible from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday, from 10 p.m. Friday to 7:30 a.m. Saturday, and from 10 p.m. Saturday to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
In observance of the Independence Day holiday, no additional lane closures or traffic restrictions are scheduled from noon July 1 to 9 p.m. July 5.

I-15 Restrictions, Closures for Bridge Demolition Work
I-15 Closure for Bridge Demolition at Provo Center Street
I-15 will be closed in both directions andProvo Center Street will be closed between 900 West and1600 West from 11 p.m. Saturday, July 10, to 11:30 a.m.Sunday, July 11, for demolition of the southbound I-15 off-ramp to eastbound Center Street. Motorists needing to exit I-15 northboundwill need to use University Avenue. Local motorists canuse 820 North or 600 South as alternate routes. Provo Center Street Interchange Area Closure
Beginning Thursday, July 8, at 10 p.m.the ramp from southbound I-15 to eastbound Center Street is scheduled to close as crews prepare to demolish the ramp bridge over I-15 on Saturday, July 10. Once closed, all traffic exiting I-15 southbound will need to use the existing off-ramp at Center Street and I-15 southbound (next to the Center Street underpass). Motorists should expect some congestion and travel delays at this intersection and use alternate routes when possible.
800 North Closure in Orem for Bridge Demolition
800 North between the on- and off-ramps at the I-15 interchange is scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, until 5 a.m. Thursday, July 8, for bridge demolition. Motorists can use the interchanges at 1600 North, 400 North, Center Street or 400 South in Orem as alternate routes.
Work Area Construction Update
Ongoing Construction Activities
· West Frontage Road between Storrs Avenue and 100 East in American Fork remains closed through mid-July for gas line installation. Motorists can use 400 South and 1100 South as alternate routes.
· Bridge construction continues at the 500 East bridge, Sam White Lane bridge and Proctor Lane bridge. Nearby residents and businesses should expect noise and other inconveniences associated with the construction. Please use caution as large trucks and heavy construction equipment is working nearby.
· The road connecting 400 North to Proctor Lane in Lindon remains closed for utility work and bridge construction. This road will be closed until summer 2011. Motorists can use Pleasant Grove Boulevard and 700 North in Lindon to access Proctor Lane.
· I-15 southbound is restricted to three lanes at the 500 East interchange in American Fork. This restriction will be in effect through early August. The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph. Motorists should anticipate moderate travel delays during commute times.
· Crews continue removing trees and widening the shoulders along both sides of I-15 from 500 East in American Fork to 200 South in Lindon. Motorists should expect slight lane shifts, narrowed lanesand reduced speed limits throughout this area.
Construction activities are subject to change due to situations such as inclement weather, equipment problems, construction delays or other emergencies.
