American Fork City Invites You to Enjoy and Participate in the 2010 Steel Days Celebration

American Fork City's annual Steel Days Celebration was orginally named in honor of the Geneva Steel Plant that was built during World War II by the Columbia Steel Company.   The Geneva Steel Plant played an important role in the growth of American Fork City and in providing jobs for many American Fork residents for over fifty years.  The Geneva Steel Plant no longer exists, but American Fork City continues to call its annual city celebration, "Steel Days" because of the strength and durabilty of our  residents and community.  

Steel Days is several days of fun events such as Concert/Fireworks Show, Car Show/Cruise, Grand Parade, Picnic in the Park (movie under the stars, games, food, etc.), Symphony Concert, 5k Race, Kids Race, etc.
