Quilt Show July 8-10, 2010

Since 1990, the annual Steel Days Quilt Show has been conducted by members of New Friends Quilt Circle as a community service project.  This will be the 20-year celebration for the Quilt Show being part of Steel Days.  The show offers an opportunity to showcase the workmanship of local area artisans.  The quilts are hung for public viewing after being judged for their quality of work.  Ribbons are given out for a variety of categories.  The Utah Quilt Guild donates $25.00 for the Best of Show award.  Volunteers are available to answer questions and to safeguard the valuable quilts.  The theme this year is "Victory Quilts".  Quilts may be turned in on Monday, June 28th, between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon, or on Tuesday, June 29th, between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.  They need to be picked up at 5:30 pm on Saturday, July 10th.
