The Patrol Division of the American Fork Police Department is made up of 22 officers who are assigned to four sections within the division. The sections are patrol, traffic, K-9, and SWAT operations. It’s the uniformed patrol officers who respond to the initial calls for service from the community. The patrol officers have the highest visibility and responsibility for quality service to the community within the police department.

 

Our patrol officers are very busy serving the public. In 2008, the patrol officers responded to and investigated 13,631 incidents, made 1,312 arrests, investigated 904 traffic accidents, and arrested 105 DUIs. We are very proud of our officers and the great service they render to the community.
