Download best selling audiobooks, eBooks and videos from OverDrive  24/7 to your PC at home, in the office or from anywhere in the world.  All you need is your library card to get started!

To browse, checkout and download digital audiobooks, eBooks and videos, you will need a valid library card, (you must enter all 14 digits), access to the Internet and the free software for the computer and /or device on which you wish to use the material you download from the Overdrive site.  The free software is downloaded from the Overdrive site. 

OverDrive allows you to select your length of checkout from 7, 14 to 21 days. Ebooks are eligible for early returns, audiobooks are not.

OverDrive limits you to 5 checkouts and holds.

OverDrive media are compatible with the following devices:

     e-book readers:

Sony (Daily Edition, Pocket Edition and Touch Edition)

   Barnes & Noble NOOK

   Kobo ereader

   Literati reader

   Pandigital novel

Kindle (selected titles only)

     PC computers both Windows and Mac software

     mobile devices: iphone, ipod touch, ipad, Android

Hints for sucess the first time:

• don't have your portable device plugged in to your computer until you are ready to transfer
• make sure your portable device is fully charged or mostly charged. If your battery dies you will not complete the transfer
• if a transfer does not complete, delete and downoad again
• multiple log in can cause the error message "unable to log in to this account" - try using a different browser or rebooting
• for iPod/iPad you need three programs - iTunes, the app store (for OverDrive media console) and the OverDrive media console, even for an eBook
• use iTunes to control where your audiobooks are stored and found on your portable devices (iPad, i Pod)
• through Adobe Digital Editions (on your PC) you can return items from OverDrive. This frees up space on your account and allows someone else to check out the item immediately
• viewing eBooks on your PC uses Adobe Digital Editions, iPads, etc. use the OverDrive Media Console 
• there are about 500 MP3 audiobooks (these can go directly to a portable device)
• there are over 3200 WMA audiobooks, most of these can be transfered to a portable after checking them out and downloading them to a PC
• there are no LDS titles
